Administrative Assistant -- Property Management

The Field Support Center at Raymour & Flanigan delivers real challenge and career growth opportunities. We are currently looking for a full time Administrative Assistant, to support the Property Management and Construction Teams.

This individual must function well in a fast-paced environment requiring strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
* Assist Property Management team on all Property Management processes and functions.
* Assist Property Management team in the bidding and managing of contracts, including preparing requests for proposals and assist in the coordination of maintenance projects with outside contractors.
* Assist Property Management team with the preparation of budgets, operating expense reconciliations, and compliance with Operating Procedures for Property Management
* Draft, proofread and send correspondence to tenants and vendors.
* Answer the office telephone using standard company procedures, route calls within the office as needed.
* Cover front desk and receptionist duties as needed.
* Provide administrative support & duties as needed.
* Communicate professionally and appropriately.
* Receive and process invoices for payment according to established procedures
* Perform additional functions or other special projects and duties as required by supervisor.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Understanding and experience with invoice processing
* Must be quality-oriented with strong attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and affinity to working with numbers
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Possess excellent organizational skills
* Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects efficiently and simultaneously
* Working with cross-functional teams efficiently
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Able to work in an open office environment while still maintaining focus
* Able to maintain confidentiality
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 2yr or 4yr College Business/Accounting degree preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Monday thru Friday, Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm [Hourly Position]
* Salary: DOE
