Customs and Compliance Manager

Raymour & Flanigan, the premier furniture retailer in the Northeast, is currently seeking an experienced Customs and Import Compliance professional that can join our team and work to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. The position reports to the Director of Global Logistics and is ideal for a career minded individual with relevant experience and a four year college degree.

Expectations and Job Functions:
  • Head up our internal Customs Compliance team and partner with US Customs officials to ensure we operate within all federal guidelines
  • Maintain our CTPAT certification¬†
  • Serve as the liaison between Raymour & Flanigan and our customs house broker
  • Oversee and audit customs entry process performed by our customs house broker
  • Establish and maintain a master item database for HTS classification of finished goods and parts
  • Work closely with the merchandising department to ensure new items and vendors are properly vetted.
  • Form a close, cooperative and supportive relationship with the field operations personnel to ensure compliance to all federal and internal requirements.
