Job Description

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture is currently seeking an enthusiastic IT Jr. Business Analyst to join the technology team. The primary focus of this role is to work bridge the gap between business needs and technology, to solve strategic business issues and drive enhancements in all areas of the business. When there is a solution effort going on, a Jr. Strategic IT Business Analyst is involved to help facilitate the execution on behalf of the end user and drive the success of the effort.

* Demonstrated history of analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business units and leadership;
* Handle multiple requests effectively in a fast-paced environment;
* Analyze existing systems to determine their effectiveness in meeting the needs of end users;
* Develop strategies to better leverage existing systems in accordance with the business needs;
* Prior experience summarizing and presenting complex issues to a non-technical audience;
* Demonstrated history of taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution;
* Maintain confidentiality and privacy of end user and company information;
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field

Primary Responsibilities:
* Work under the guidance of a Strategic IT Business Analyst.
* Investigate problems/opportunities that require a clear strategy.
* Ensuring recommended changes are in line with the business strategy.
* Understanding the business to support identification of alternative strategies.
* Listen carefully to others, taking time to understand and ask appropriate questions without interrupting;
* Cultivate strong relationships with internal customer base, vendors, and other internal technical support personnel to provide strong project management services;
* Gather Business Requirements and create Quality Assurance documentation;
* Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
* Other job duties based on business need.
