Job Description

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a Marketing Strategist to provide support on our team and focus on customer retention for our brand. This person should have the experience and knowledge of building and delivering successful retention programs and targeted campaigns cross channel with new and existing customers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing and retention strategies that build customer loyalty, brand recognition and customer engagement
  • Identify, propose and test channels to drive new and existing customer growth with measurable results
  • Create a best-in-class retention and engagement strategy by keeping up to date with latest trends
  • Manage relationships and execution with vendors with direct mail and marketing initiatives as well as reporting and budgets
  • Develop and execute strategies in promotional, transactional, lifecycle, triggered and rewards-focused campaigns to drive retention and revenue growth
  • Set customer retention strategy, develop and expand our VIP Club loyalty programs
  • Collaborate and execute on sweepstakes initiatives and partnerships with other brands for promotions
  • Responsible for compiling information, reporting and analysis for marketing promotions.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities and balance priorities with internal and external partners
  • Maintain reporting and tracking reports; data entry as needed, update vendor lists
  • Cross departmental and inter-department communications
  • Able to develop and maintain a variety of reports on a weekly/monthly/annual basis
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills in person and on the phone
  • Demonstrate excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management

Competencies and Specific Skills Required:

  • Experience within marketing, CRM and retention strategy and initiatives
  • Must be quality-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data and derive insights to influence marketing strategy
  • Adapts to changes in work environment, manages competing demands, able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and affinity to working with numbers
  • Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects efficiently and simultaneously
  • Working with cross-functional teams efficiently
  • Able to work in an open office environment while still maintaining focus
