Position Overview
Raymour & Flanigan's Business Development department is looking for the right candidate to join our team of quality assurance analysts to help lift the department to new levels of success. The QA Analyst is responsible for the planning, design, and execution of testing on simple to complex software implementations. The QA Analyst will support the department's goal to continually improve its processes and products to meet the company's demands. The QA Analyst will work collaboratively with the department and other business units to identify, document, execute, and validate test cases based upon system requirements.

What will we expect you to do as a QA Analyst?
* Develop and maintain test plans, cases, scripts, and reports for multiple projects of varying size
* Review user requirements to ensure that the requirements are testable
* Perform testing on a wide range of software implementations
* Validate that user expectations are achieved via white-, black-, or gray-box testing, depending on the project
* Ensure application test documentation is accurate and complete upon project closeout
* Assist the QA Manager to further refine the QA team's processes and procedures
What will make you a good fit for this position?
* BA or BS degree or higher (technology-related) or equivalent work experience
* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Familiarity with software/web development concepts/technologies
* Practical understanding of and experience writing and executing SQL queries, esp. MS T-SQL
* Familiarity/experience with MS SQL Server Management Studio
* Ability to help create and map business needs/application requirements to technical solutions
* Ability to collaborate well with other members of the development team
* Solid time management, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
* Ability to complete multiple tasks and manage a high volume of competing priorities in a fast paced environment
* Ability to collaborate effectively with all structural levels of the organization to meet company objectives

What will give you an edge?
* Web application development experience
* Familiarity/experience with MS web technologies (ASP.Net (WebForms and MVC), Classic ASP, Silverlight)
* Familiarity/experience with MS Visual Studio and other developer tools
* Understanding of and practical experience with QA testing concepts, methodologies, and tools
* Familiarity with the Agile methodology
* Strong desire to be engaged with the team, our projects, and the business units we serve
