Job Description

Raymour & Flanigan, a leading furniture retailer in the U.S., is seeking an experienced multi-unit, bilingual, Servant Leader and Regional Director of Sales for Queens and Nassau County, NY area. The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for seven, high volume retail showrooms. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales. Interested candidates should reside within the geographic area.

  • Intimately involved in the recruiting, selection and development of Top Talent at all levels of the organization.
  • Drive desired results in all financial and Non-Financial areas of the business and always be seeking new ways and means to Raise the Bar of Performance.
  • Assimilate financial data and be able to recognize, coach, teach and encourage the hearts of our people as it pertains to the Selling Behaviors required to maximize the potential of the individual's business portfolio.
  • Be an Ambassador for orchestrating Community Outreach Events each quarter in every Showroom that serve as platforms for our Associates to express themselves differently by giving back to those less fortunate in the Trade Areas we serve.
  • Be an agent of change, have a vision of what could be and be willing to challenge the process of thinking when you feel you there is an opportunity to Raise the Bar.
  • Be an Excellent Business Partner that Lives and Models the One Team Philosophy we have at Raymour & Flanigan.
  • Support all Company initiatives, policies and procedures.


  • Seven Years' experience in leading a multi-unit, customer focused retail environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial and non-financial goals and objectives.
  • Excellent Communication, Coaching and Training Skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to learn proprietary programs.
  • Travel throughout the region, along with the flexibility to work a retail schedule, including events, weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; certified enhanced career development; equivalent combination of education and experience.
