Job Description

Raymour & Flanigan is searching for a talented Senior Creative Director to guide our in-house creative and copy teams along with helping to manage external agency relationships. High energy, intellect and creativity are musts! He or she will be responsible for leading our graphic designers, copy writers and other internal partners towards brand consistency and evolution. This person will also contribute to the greater marketing strategy and priorities.

The Senior Creative Director position is based in Syracuse, NY.  Remote candidates must be willing to relocate to Syracuse, NY.

Creative Director Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Guiding graphic designers and copy writers through multitude of cross-channel marketing materials including print, digital, social, etc.
  • Lead creative strategy and design of in-store materials including signage, displays, select paint projects and POP
  • Review, critique and improve all existing promotions
  • Originate and lead design of new promotions to ignite sales growth in primary product categories
  • Continue to evolve the Community Outreach program
  • Analyze and assess the impact of existing video footage, commercials, brand spots, etc., then provide input on how to improve them.
  • Guidance and accountability of 3rd party creative agencies in partnership with his/her leader


  • 8-10+ years of experience in a high volume branding, creative-oriented, marketing environment
  • Creative, inspirational and positive energy!
  • Leadership experience, overseeing a team with the ability to inspire, develop and provide support
  • Ability to establish and communicate goals and achieve timelines
  • Comfort and confidence in interacting with all levels of company leadership
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
